Lava Iris N 400 smartphone launched -CG to launch two new Iris models next week

CG Impex has introduced Lava Iris N 400 smartphone in the Nepali market. It is launching two more models -- Iris N 501 and Iris N 502 -- within a week.

“We have recently launched Iris N 400 in the Nepali market for which we have been receiving lots of enquiries since we bagged the Lava dealership in December. We are also launching N 501 and N 502 within a week,” Ramesh Shrestha, general manager of CG Impex, said.

The newly launched Iris N400 is a dual-SIM phone. It has 4-inch display with screen resolution of 400 x800 pixels. The phone is powered by 1 GHz processor and runs on Andriod Ice-cream Sandwich V 4.0.1 operating system. Similarly, it has 512 MB RAM and 512 MB internal memory. Its memory can be expanded up to 32 GB. The phone has 5 mega pixels rear camera and 0.3 mega pixels front camera for video conferencing.

The phone is available at Rs 12,999 Iris N 501, which the company is launching next week, is also a dual-SIM phone. According to Kusum Lama Yonjan, senior marketing executive at CG Impex, the phone will have a WVGA TFT touchscreen. It runs on Android Ice-cream Sandwich V4.0.4 operating system and is powered by 1 GHz dual core processor and 512 MB RAM. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB. It sports a 5 mega pixels auto focus camera at the back and 0.3 mega pixels camera at the front.

“We will provide special additional back cover and 4 GB memory card free with the phone,” Yonjan said, “We are yet to fix the price, but it will not cost more than Rs 15,000.”

Similarly, Iris N 502 is a dual-SIM phone with a 5-inch capacitive VGA touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 900 pixels. It runs on Android Jelly Bean V 4.1 operating system and powered by 1 GHz processor, 4 GB ROM and 512 MB RAM expandable up to 32 GB. The phone comes with 5 mega pixels rear auto focus camera with LED flash and face detection features and a VGA camera at the front.

The phone will be available in black and white colors.“We have not fixed the price of the phone yet but it will not cost more than Rs 13,000,” said Yonjan.
